charity projects

DWG is proud that our staff and associates value social and moral responsibilities. Despite their busy schedule, visits to welfare homes and events were also organized to raise funds for the less fortunate.

In celebration of the Group's 10^th Anniversary, a charity campaign called "A Big Heart For Charity" was organized by the Group to raise funds for the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

This comprised of a series of events organized by the Group including a Charity Christmas Bowling Competition in December 2002, a multi-racial Lion Dance Performance (performed by the associates themselves) at the shopping mall during Chinese New Year in 2003, a Valentine's Day T-shirt selling along Orchard Road outside Paragon Shopping Center and a fun filled drive around the island named" Treasure Hunt On Wheels" which received participation from some members of the public as well.

A signature black T-shirt with "A Big Heart For Charity" heart-shaped emblem was specially designed and produced for this charity drive. A total sum of $20,000 was raised through the series of events. This was possible due to the efforts, time and commitment by staff and associates.
